A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck on Brookshire Boulevard early Thursday morning, closing the road for a time.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say officers were called around 1 a.m. to a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on Brookshire Boulevard near Davidson Street. Medic took the pedestrian to the hospital in unknown condition.
The two inbound lanes of Brookshire Boulevard at Caldwell Street were shut down until just before 3:30 a.m.
No names or possible charges were released.
