A Rutland woman was hurt when she went off Cold River Road in Rutland Town on Wednesday night, police said

Brea Tuttle, 41, was driving a 2001 Ford F150 south near the intersection with Hubbard Lane Place at about 10:40 p.m. when she “divided her attention from the road,” according to Vermont State Police.

She went off the west side of the road, down a ditch and hit a tree, police said.

Tuttle was taken to Rutland Regional Medical Center for injuries to her legs and back, police said, and the truck sustained significant damage to the front.

Police also said Tuttle’s license was under criminal suspension, and she was issued a citation to appear in Rutland criminal court later this month.
