One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after an accident in Citrus Heights.
According to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, a car hit a tree after a two-car crash. An unconscious victim had to be removed from the car and was taken to the hospital with significant injuries. Their status isn't currently known.
