Charlotte , NC : Taxi was crashed into Powerpole near Freedom Drive and no injures were reported on tuesday , december 9th 2014

A section of Morehead Road was shut down Tuesday after a taxi crashed into a power pole. The incident happened on Morehead near Freedom Drive just before 3:30 p.m. Officials say they received conflicting information about what may have led to the wreck, but say they are investigating. The taxi, which was from Diamond Cab Co., was the only vehicle at the scene. Morehead was shut down at the scene while crews worked to clear the roadway of the power lines and debris.
