Dorchester, MA : No injuries after SUV crashes into Dorchester KFC on Saturday afternoon, January 2, 2016

An SUV plowed into a front window of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Dorchester yesterday afternoon, officials said.

The accident happened at the Washington Street restaurant just before 2 p.m., according to Boston police. The driver of the car was evaluated at the scene by Boston EMS but was uninjured.

No one else inside the restaurant was injured, but the building sustained heavy interior and exterior damage, forcing it to close, police said.
