Reading, PA : Motorcyclist dies after accident in Bally on Saturday, July 15, 2017

The Chester County motorcyclist who was severely injured Saturday in a four-vehicle accident in Bally has died, state police at Reading said Sunday.

Christopher L. Garber, 57, Downingtown, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital near Allentown, where he was pronounced dead at 9:12 p.m., according to the Lehigh County coroner's office.
An autopsy is planned for Monday.Route 100 in Bally was closed for about six hours after the crash near Church Street at about 2:45 p.m.
Two other drivers were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries, troopers said. The other drivers were identified as Lori A. Meitzler, 53, of Alburtis, and Dean A. Royer, 54, of Breinigsville.
One of the vehicles struck the porch of a nearby residence, collapsing the porch.
Garber was the 32nd person to die this year as a result of crashes on Berks County roads. He was wearing a helmet, troopers said.
The accident is under investigation.
