WALNUT CREEK, CA : Traffic alert lifted on Interstate 680 after multi-car crash on Thursday, October, 19th 2017

The California Highway Patrol lifted a Sig Alert that they issued a severe-traffic warning following a crash involving several cars on northbound Interstate 680.

The crash involved at least three cars and possibly as many as five, the CHP said. Ambulances were sent to the scene, and at least one of the people in one of the vehicles was trapped, the CHP said.
