SACRAMENTO, CA : 1 dead, 1 injured after car crashes into pole in North Highlands on Monday, 22nd January 2024

A man is dead and his female passenger is seriously injured after they crashed into a light pole while driving away from deputies.

According to Amar Gandhi with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the brief chase started around 11:45 a.m. Monday when deputies saw a vehicle with a code violation on Watt Avenue and Myrtle Avenue.
