CASTELLA, CA : Driver arrested after deadly Shasta Co. van crash that injured 17 people on Monday, 25th March 2024

The person who was killed in the crash has been identified as 37-year-old Juan Diego Garcia-Mendez of Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico.

This case remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol and the Shasta County Coroner’s Office.
