Walnut Creek, CA : One person dies in crash by 680/24 interchange Saturday night, August 20, 2016

At least one person died Saturday night after a vehicle crashed into another that was parked, according to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was first reported at 9:06 p.m. at the intersection of Boulevard Way and Saranap Avenue, just south of the interchange of Highway 24 and Interstate 680. CHP officials said one person may have suffered a heart attack before the crash, to which the coroner was called.
