Orlando, FL : 20-year-old man killed after car crashes into pole in Orlando on Monday, June 2, 2014

A 20-year-old man was killed Monday after his car crashed into a pole in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The driver, who is from Pembroke Pines, was traveling westbound on Lake Pickett Road, near Tanner Road, around 12:40 p.m. in a four-door Honda.

The driver then lost control of the vehicle, veered off the roadway and struck a pole. The driver died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

The man's identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification
