Pennsylvania, Murrysville : Three people sustained minor injuries in a four-vehicle crash in Derry Township on Monday, 18th June 2018

Three people sustained minor injuries in a four-vehicle crash in Derry Township at the intersection of Routes 22 and 981 Monday, according to state police.

The collision happened around 5:45 p.m. when Michele L. Aaron, 42, of New Alexandria, attempted to turn her Suzuki Kizashi north onto Route 981 and was struck by a Kia Sorento driven east on Route 22 by Joseph G. Cremonese, 82, of Greensburg. He failed to stop at a red light, police said. The collision pushed Aaron's car into other vehicles that were headed westbound on Route 22 and waiting to turn onto Route 981.

Aaron and Cremonese were transported to Excela Health Latrobe Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
