A Stamford woman has pleaded not guilty to fleeing the scene of a car crash where two people were left to die. Felicia Burl was arraigned on felony charges Thursday in Stamford Superior Court, The Stamford Advocate reported (http://bit.ly/12rvsfu ). She pleaded not guilty to manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident and second-degree assault in connection with the crash last month. She remained silent at the arraignment except to tell the judge she understood her rights. Police say Burl fled on foot after causing the accident on Nov. 7 by running a red light and slamming into a passing car. Judith Andriulli, 70, of Greenwich, a passenger in the car driven by her husband, Anthony, died. Anthony Andriulli had numerous broken bones, and Nixon Henry of Stamford also was killed. The 50-year-old Henry was ejected from the passenger seat of his car. Burl, 32, has previous convictions for probation violations, drug dealing, assault and hindering prosecution. Police Sgt. Andrew Gallagher said U.S. Marshals helped police track Burl to Stamford, where she was found Wednesday. Police said that after the accident she fled to Bridgeport, where she may have stayed with friends and family, but her network of support diminished and she was forced to return to Stamford. source : Stamford woman pleads not guilty to fleeing accident scene where 2 people were left to die
