Hephzibah, GA : Two dead in motorcycle crash in the 2300 block of Mims Road in Hephzibah on Thursday, 20th February, 2020

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office is investigating the deaths of two people in a motorcycle crash Thursday morning.

Larry Robert Kersey, 33, and Amanda Hughes, 33, of Hephzibah, were riding east on a motorcycle in the 2300 block of Mims Road in Hephzibah when the motorcycle ran off the westbound side of the road and hit a culvert, said Coroner Mark Bowen.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene at 7:20 a.m. Their bodies have been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab for an autopsy, said Bowen.
