Lincoln County, NC : One person was killed in a vehicle accident Near Highway 150 Tuesday afternoon June 24th 2014.

One person was killed in a vehicle accident in Lincoln County, according to North Carolina Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened on the 2800 block of Highway 150 early Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers have not released much information about the incident, but did confirm to WBTV that one person was killed.

That victim's name has not been released.

Officials have not said if anyone else was injured in the accident or if any charges are being filed.
