Richmond,VI : One person killed in Chesterfield County motorcycle crash on April, sunday 16th 2017

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash in Chesterfield County, police said.

The crash occurred in the 14000 block of Beach Road about 2:30 p.m., according to Chesterfield police. The motorcycle was heading east on Beach when the operator lost control and ran off the road into a wooded area.The driver, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
