Rehoboth, DE : SUV crashes into tree near Long Neck on Wednesday, August 17, 2016

An SUV ran off Route 24 near Bay Farm Road Aug. 17, crashing into a tree.

A maroon Chevrolet SUV was traveling eastbound on Route 24 when for unknown reasons it left the roadway at the intersection of Bay Farm Road and struck a tree, according to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Co.

Indian River firefighters responded to the scene. The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control and the Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
