The Washington State Patrol says two men in a pickup truck were killed early Tuesday when it collided with another pickup that swerved to avoid a deer on Highway 9 near Everson. Trooper Mark Francis tells that two men in a Toyota pickup died at the scene. Two other men in a Ford pickup that swerved to avoid the deer were not injured.
