Chippewa County, WI : Woman airlifted after Arthur crash on Wednesday, August 31, 2016

A 28-year-old woman was airlifted to a local hospital after a crash at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of County S and County K in the Chippewa County town of Arthur.
No one else was injured in the two-vehicle crash, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to the office:
A car was traveling northbound on County K and failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection. A truck going eastbound on County S struck the car as the car entered the intersection.
The names of the people in the crash will be released later.
Agencies responding to the crash include the sheriff’s offfice, the Anson Fire Department, Chippewa Falls EMS and Life Link Helicopter.
