Tellico Plains, TN : Reliance woman dead following one-car crash in Monroe County Saturday on September 13, 2014

An 89-year-old woman died Saturday around 1:00 p.m. after troopers say she crashed on Reliance Road near Rural Vale Road in Monroe County. Tennessee Highway Patrol says Lillian Leisch, from Reliance, was driving her 2005 Scion when the road curved to the left. Lesich did not steer with the curve and ran off the right side of the road. Troopers say she was only wearing the lap belt of her seat belt. They believe it may have made a difference if worn correctly. Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.
