Teen admits guilt in fatal crash in Hamilton,Ohio

A Milford Twp. teen admitted guilt Monday in a fatal vehicle crash that killed a Camden man last spring.Andrew Hensley, 18, entered a true plea in Butler County Juvenile Court to vehicular homicide, a fourth-degree felony.

The charge rose to the level of a felony because Hensley did not have a valid driver’s license at the time of the crash, according to county Prosecutor Michael Gmoser.Hensley’s first day of trial happened in November when prosecutors and the defense argued whether the license had been restored on May 2. Scheduling pushed the remainder of the trial to Monday before Judge Kathleen Romans, when Hensley entered the plea.
According to police and prosecutors, Hensley, 17, at the time of the accident, hit Donald Herbst, 25, who was on a motorcycle, heading south on Ohio 177 at Harris Road.
