Reading, PA : Man killed in crash on Route 183 in Penn Township on Friday, 12th August, 2016

The Berks County coroner's office said Daniel Rentschler of the Bernville area was killed when a car he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer early today on Route 183 in Penn Township.

Rentschler, 41, was pronounced dead at 3:18 a.m. by Berks County Deputy Coroner Matt Mears at the scene of the crash north of Bright School Road, officials said.
Route 183, also known as Bernville Road, was closed for more than 8 hours between Church and North Heidelberg roads.
