Orleans, MA : Wareham fatal crash victim identified on Saturday, January 28th 2017

State Police are currently onscene of a fatal motor vehicle crash on Route 495 northbound in Wareham.
Patrols from the Bourne Barracks and the Middleborough Barracks responding to a call about debris in the road at 1:26 a.m. discovered a sport utility vehicle that had gone off the road into the woods. A victim suffered fatal injuries in the crash. No information about the victim is being released at this time as notification to family is underway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Troop D of the Massachusetts State Police with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and State Police Crime Scene Services Section.
