HUEYTOWN, AL : Hit-and-run leaves one man dead in Hueytown on Tuesday, 26th March 2024

On Tuesday, March 26, just after midnight, a Hueytown police officer observed a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road near the intersection of Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive and Brooklane Drive. The officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested 70-year-old Walter Lee Ellison for DUI and transported him to the Hueytown City Jail.
