A two-vehicle crash on Rt. 460 near Mercer Mall sent one person to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Chief David Thompson, with the Green Valley-Glenwood Fire Department, said the person, who was not identified, had to be extricated from one of the cars.
One vehicle was attempting to cross Rt. 460 from Country Girl Road onto Blue Prince Road but a vehicle traveling west on Rt. 460 broadsided it, he said.
