MINNEAPOLIS, MN : 4 injured after Metro Transit bus crashes through brick wall in northeast Minneapolis on Tuesday, 2nd January 2024

Four people are recovering from injuries after a Metro Transit bus crashed through a brick wall in northeast Minneapolis Tuesday morning.

Metro Transit spokesperson Nikki Muehlhausen confirms the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of 3rd and Broadway Streets Northeast. Metro Transit police officers were dispatched to the scene on reports of a bus versus car crash. Also responding were Minneapolis police and paramedics.
