Stuart, FL : Man injured after two-vehicle wreck at South Kanner Highway on Friday, August 19, 2016

A man has serious injuries after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash Friday, said Chris Stabile, spokesman for Martin County Fire Rescue.

Florida Highway Patrol units were dispatched to the crash involving two pickups at 5:13 p.m. at South Kanner Highway and Salerno Road, the FHP traffic site shows.

One person was flown to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce with serious injuries, Stabile said.

FHP is investigating the crash, said Sgt. Mark Wysocky, FHP spokesman.
