Tarentum,PA : Crash near Pittsburgh Mills causes delays on Route 28 on October, Monday 16th 2017

A three-vehicle crash was moved to the side of Route 28 but still caused significant traffic Monday morning near Pittsburgh Mills Mall, authorities said.

State Police said no one was hurt in the crash, which occurred at about 6:45 a.m., and all the vehicles were pulled over to the shoulder of the southbound lanes near the Pittsburgh Mills Boulevard on-ramp.

PennDOT traffic data showed backups along the inbound lanes as far as Tarentum from people slowing down to pass the crash scene. All the crashed vehicles were removed and the scene cleared by 8 a.m., police said.
