REDDING, CT : Six teenagers from area towns were injured after their car crash on April, Friday 14th 2017

Six teenagers from area towns were injured after their car crashed into a tree on Route 107 and caught on fire Friday night.
Police have not released the names of the young people in the crash near Umpawaug Road, but said they were from Redding, Easton and Fairfield.
Police said the teens were headed north/east on Route 107 when the driver lost control of the car, which crossed the westbound lane, hit a tree and caught on fire.
Police, area fire departments, EMS and paramedic services responded to the crash. The road was closed in that area for the next six hours.
Joel Barlow High School plans to have a special meeting Monday morning so staff can comfort students, Superintendent Thomas McMorran said.
