Boulder, CO : Motorcyclist crashes on Flagstaff Road on Saturday afternoon, August 27, 2016

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries on Saturday afternoon after crashing on Flagstaff Road.

Colorado State Trooper Josh Lewis said that the 24-year-old driver possibly struck a tree, but he did not have that information confirmed.

Lewis said that the driver has been taken to Boulder Community Health, but his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

He did not have any information on whether alcohol, drugs or speed played a role in the crash.

Police received the call shortly before 5 p.m.
