Columbus, OH : Victims identified in double fatal Spring Grove Village crash on Wednesday, 18th April 2018

A crash late Tuesday left two people dead and another serious injured in Spring Grove Village, police said.

Emergency crews found a man and woman dead inside an overturned Mazda 3 in the 4800 block of Gray Road just before 7 p.m., officials said.

Sarah Emanuel, 31, and Timothy Brown, 56, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the Cincinnati Police Department.

Investigators said Emanuel was driving the car and spun out across the center line into the path of Shalisha Brown, 28, who was driving a Chrysler Pacifica. Brown suffered serious injuries and was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators said Emanuel was speeding. Capt. David Fink said she was either racing or involved in a chase with an unknown silver vehicle.
