2 dead after motorcycle, car collide near Grain Valley.

Two men are dead after a collision near Grain Valley.The deadly accident happened about 11 p.m. Wednesday on Buckner-Tarsney and Truman roads in eastern Jackson County when a car and motorcycle crashed. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said John Guerra, 43, of Blue Springs, was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he collided with 18-year-old Brian Ostrander.Authorities say Ostrander, of Oak Grove, was driving a 1983 Pontiac and attempting to turn onto southbound Buckner-Tarsney Road when the motorcycle struck the side of his car.The car may have failed to yield to the motorcycle, troopers say.
