SHALERSVILLE, OH : Four-vehicle Shalersville crash injures 2 on Route 303 on Tuesday, 4th September 2018

Two people suffered non-serious injuries in a four-vehicle crash on Route 303 near Price Road shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.

EMS crews transported two people to area hospitals and treated two others at the scene, according to the Mantua-Shalersville Fire Department.

The crash occurred in the 3000 block of Route 303 between Diagonal and Price roads when, according to witnesses, a pickup truck was stopped in the westbound lane of 303, waiting to turn left onto Price Road when it was rear-ended by a maroon Nissan sedan. The Nissan was then struck from behind by a silver Ford sedan, and knocked into the path of a semi truck headed east on 303.

The drivers of the Nissan and the Ford were transported. The crash is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
