CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC : Pedestrian killed after struck by two vehicles on James Island on February, Tuesday 20th 2018

Authorities say a pedestrian was killed when he was struck by two vehicles on James Island Tuesday night.

Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office say deputies responded to the 900 block of Folly Road just before 7 p.m. for an auto-pedestrian fatality.

"A male pedestrian was crossing the roadway when he was struck by two vehicles," CCSO officials said. "The vehicles involved were a red 4-door Hyundai and a green 4-door Chevrolet."

The pedestrian died at the scene.

The accident is under investigation by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
