FORT ANN, NY : Whitehall woman injured in Route 149 crash on Wednesday, 5th December 2018

A woman from Whitehall was taken to Albany Medical Center after a two-vehicle collision on Route 149 late, police said.

State Police said Melinda Guynn, 55, was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with one that turned into its path shortly after 8 p.m. at the intersection with Patten Mills Road.Guynn was taken to the hospital via helicopter, but her condition was not immediately available Wednesday morning. Police said she suffered a head injury.

Police said Amanda Koch, 33, of Fort Ann, was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way for turning into the path of the vehicle in which Guynn rode.
