A motorcyclist was killed Easter Sunday after his 2002 Suzuki collided with another vehicle in Pender County, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist, who was traveling west on N.C. 53, collided with a passenger vehicle that was turning left while traveling in the opposite direction.
“We don’t have the name of the driver released right now,” Sgt. M. L. Collier said Sunday evening.
The fatal collision occurred at 2:55 p.m.
The motorcyclist was declared dead on scene while the driver of the passenger vehicle was uninjured.
