Chatsworth, NJ : One person was dead in a fiery one-car crash at southern New Jersey On Monday, August 15th, 2016

Authorities say one person is dead following a fiery one-car crash in southern New Jersey.

It happened around noon Monday in the Pinelands in Woodland Township. State troopers say the car crashed into a tree and burst into flames. The fire extended into the woods and officials say it was extinguished by the New

Jersey Forest Fire Service.

Authorities didn’t immediately identify the victim.

The crash remains under investigation.
