Phoenix, AZ : Two young men injured after single-vehicle crash on Deer Valley Road on Wednesday morning, March 18, 2015

Two young men were injured after a crash on Deer Valley Road, just under the Interstate 17 interchange and now police are saying alcohol and speed may be to blame.

The car apparently hit a median before bursting into flames Wednesday morning.

Both men were ejected from the vehicle, so police still don't know who was driving.

The 23-year-old is in critical condition, while the 21-year-old is in serious condition. Their names have not been released.

Parts of Deer Valley Road will be closed during the investigation.
