Sarasota, FL : One injured, Sarasota bus driver cited after I-75 crash on Wednesday, July 23, 2014

A Sarasota school bus driver was charged with careless driving after crashing into a vehicle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was sent to Venice Regional Hospital.

Bus driver Gary Miller, 66, was reportedly northbound in the rain on Interstate 75 in the right lane shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday when the victim’s Jeep ahead slowed in the same lane because another vehicle was blocking the lane from an earlier accident.

Miller reportedly rear-ended the victim’s vehicle, which then hit the other car near mile marker 191.
