Castle Dale, UT : Auto pedestrian accident in Orangeville on Wednesday, October, 18th 2017

Press release: ECSO Dispatch Center received a 9-1-1 call shortly after 8 a.m. on Oct. 18 stating that a child had been struck by a vehicle near Cottonwood Elementary in Orangeville.

ECSO and Emery County Ambulance responded. The 5-year-old boy was riding his bike and was struck by a vehicle making a turn. The driver of the vehicle stated that the sun made it difficult to see, resulting in the accident. The boy was transported to Castleview Hospital by private vehicle.
