WAIPAHU, Hi : A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured after riding a bicycle on Monday, June 12, 2017

A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured after riding a bicycle on a street in Waipahu Monday afternoon and colliding with a car, according to Emergency Medical Services officials.

It happened at around 4:08 p.m.on Honoawai Street.

The boy reportedly was not wearing a helmet.
