Salina,UT : Two injured in ATV accident on May, Saturday 28th 2018

A pair of youths were injured in an ATV accident in a riding area east of Salina Saturday, April 21, according to the Salina City Police.

The accident occurred when two 12-year-olds were riding without helmets or other riding gear, according to police.

The ATV reportedly rolled on top of both of the children. One of the victims was flown to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment, while the other was transported to a local hospital.

Both now since released from the hospital and are doing well, said Salina City Police Chief Al Taylor. Taylor said in a Salina Police Department Facebook post that it’s important for people to always wear a helmet and other protective riding gear when enjoying ATVs.
