TULSA, OK : Arkansas man in critical condition after accident on I-244 on Wednesday, 17th May 2023

A man is in critical condition after crashing his truck on I-244 Wednesday morning.

Troopers said they responded to the accident on I-244 near Sheridan around 5:30 a.m. and found the driver, Waylon Day, 41, of Van Buren, Ark., had struck an attenuator and then hit a concrete barrier.

Troopers said Day was pinned inside his truck for about 20 minutes until firefighters were able to free him and transport him to the hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
