Bowling Green, KY : Russellville woman injured in wreck on Tuesday, August 2, 2016

A Russellville woman was injured in an 8:30 p.m. wreck Tuesday at the intersection of Richpond-Rockfield and Russellville Roads.

Warren County Sheriff's deputies determined that a vehicle driven by Kara Parker, 19, was attempting to enter west bound traffic from Richpond-Rockfield Road and failed to judge proper distance, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

Parker's vehicle entered into the path of a vehicle driven by Rycki Morris, 20, of Russellville as Morris was driving eat on Russellville Road. Morris's car collided with Parker's car on the driver's side of Parker's vehicle, according to the release.

Speed and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the crash, according to the release.

Parker was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center for injuries believed to be non-life threatening. Morris was not injured.
