GREENFIELD, MA : Montague man injured in collision on April, Wednesday 19th 2017

A Montague man was taken by MedCare ambulance to Baystate Franklin Medical Center following a collision at the intersection of Federal and Sanderson streets.
Carl J. Holmes, no age given, of Montague was heading north on Federal Street in a 1986 Buick LeSabre when a 2008 BMW, driven by Catherine Guay of Westfield, pulled out of Sanderson Street and into the path of Holmes’ car on Wednesday afternoon. No airbags deployed in Holmes’ car, and he was transported with minor injuries, according to the police report.
Both cars were towed from the scene, and Guay was cited for “failure to use care in starting.”
