A bicyclist was hospitalized Saturday morning after a collision with a dump truck at an intersection near Dorchester Park.
The crash was reported at about 9:13 a.m. at East Las Vegas Street and South Nevada Avenue, according to Colorado Springs police.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, police said.
The northbound lanes of South Nevada Avenue were shut down at the scene of the crash at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The westbound lanes of East Las Vegas Street also remained closed at South Weber Street.
