Speed, alcohol suspected in crash that killed 4 near Vienna Virginia

Two men and two women were killed in a crash in Massie Township on Wednesday morning.Troopers said the crash happened near the intersection of Harveysburg Road and Levicy Road shortly before 5 a.m. when a pickup ran off the road and flipped several times.All four people in the pickup truck were ejected, troopers said.The dead were identified as Jonathan Kroninger, 21, of Waynesville; Rose Feltner, 22, of New Vienna; Brittany Gerondale, 26, of Morrow; and Benjamin Edwards, 26, of Lebanon.
s Karin Johnson said troopers told her the four were last seen at a home about a mile away at about 1:30 a.m."Some preliminary investigation has revealed that they were at a residence nearby, less than a mile. They had been, some of theparties involved, had been consuming alcohol into the early morning hours," Lt. Matt Hamilton said.Troopers said the driver had been traveling up to 80 mph on a 55 mph road before the crash.
An accident reconstruction team was at the scene much of the morning."For any family, especially around the holiday, it's not something you want to remember for Thanksgiving for the rest of your life," Hamilton said. "Unfortunately it's probably going to be the case."
