GALENA, OH : Two teens were killed in a crash in Delaware County on Monday, July 17, 2017

Ohio State Highway Patrol said two teens were killed in a crash in Delaware County Monday morning, and investigators were determining whether one of the drivers was texting before the fatal collision.
According to OSHP, the crash involving two cars killed two teens and injured two others. Highway Patrol said the teens killed were traveling northbound in a Toyota when their car crossed the center lane, swerving into the path of an oncoming Jeep.
OSHP Lt. Pirrone said investigators were working to determine if the driver was texting before the crash. Speed was not believed to be a factor.
A 19-year-old and a 12-year-old she was babysitting were in the Jeep. Both were injured and taken to area hospitals. Troopers say their injuries are not life-threatening.
The identities of the victims who died have not been released, but Olentangy Liberty High School confirmed the two teens were rising seniors at the school. "We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of two of our Liberty High School students this morning. In the coming days we will do everything possible to support our students and families," Superintendent Mark Raiff said in a statement.
