Wareham, MA : 67-year-old man died in a head-on crash on Cranberry Highway on Tuesday, January 26, 2016

A head-on crash on Cranberry Highway claimed the life of a Wareham man Tuesday. According to a Wareham police release, officers responded to the crash near 2305 Cranberry Highway around 1:10 p.m.

Both drivers were transported to Tobey Hospital in Wareham following the crash. One of the two drivers, a 67-year-old Wareham man died at the hospital. The second driver, a 61-year-old
Carver man, was seriously injured, police said.

Police have yet to identify either driver.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police CARS Unit.
