MAQUOKETA, IA : Authorities ID person killed in Jackson County rollover wreck on Sunday, January 29th 2017

Authorities confirmed that a Maquoketa man was killed Sunday in a crash southwest of the city.

Brian M. Baker, 53, was found dead at the scene, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday after a crash on 174th Avenue just south of 19th Street. A pickup truck he was driving failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, went through a fence and rolled three times.
